Join us for an inspiring evening to discover the secrets of happy relationships and learn practical ways to put these into practice.

Our relationships with others have a huge impact on our overall happiness. At this unique event, husband-and-wife team James Pawelski and Suzie Pileggi Pawelski will share the very latest findings from the science of positive psychology and how we can use these to enhance our relationships. 

Through easy-to-follow ideas and exercises, you'll learn how to strengthen your connections with others - whether you're looking to start a relationship off on the right foot, get through difficult times, reignite passion, or transform a good relationship into a great one.

About The Speakers

James Pawelski Ph.D is Professor of Practice and the Director of Education in the Positive Psychology Center at The University of Pennsylvania where he co-founded the world's first Master of Applied Positive Psychology Program with Martin Seligman. He is also the Founding Executive Director of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA).

Suzann ("Suzie") Pileggi Pawelski is a writer and well-being expert specialising in the science of happiness and its effects on health and relationships. She blogs for Psychology Today and writes the "Science of Well-being" column for Live Happy, where she is also a contributing editor. She has a Master of Applied Positive Psychology degree from The University of Pennsylvania.

James and Suzie are married and lead workshops together all over the world on the science of positive relationships. Their new book is called Happy Together: Using the Science of Positive Psychology to Build Love That Lasts. Their work has been featured in Time magazine, Psychologies, NY magazine, Success magazine, NPR, The Independent and many more.

Suzie and James will also be doing a book signing after their talk.

Location and Timings 

This event will take place at Conway Hall in central London on Thurs 12 July 2018. Doors will open at 18:30 and the event will start at 19:00


This event is in support of Action for Happiness. We want to make it accessible to as many people as possible, so rather than charging a fixed fee we're instead asking you to make a donation. It would be great if you could donate £20, but if you can spare more, or feel unable to give that much, then please give what you feel is appropriate.

Any funds raised (beyond the costs of the event) will contribute directly to Action for Happiness' work to promote mental wellbeing in local communities. Action for Happiness is a Registered Charity (1175160) and Company Limited by Guarantee (10722435) in England and Wales.
