Join us for a special evening with Andy Puddicombe, to explore how we can live more mindfully and discover inner peace.

Andy is the co-founder and voice of Headspace, the hugely popular meditation app, with millions of members in more than 190 countries. This is a rare chance to see Andy speak in the UK.

About The Speaker

Andy Puddicombe is a meditation and mindfulness teacher and the voice of Headspace - the popular meditation app. He's an accomplished speaker and author of various bestselling books on mindfulness including The Headspace Guides to Mindfulness & Meditation, Mindful Eating and Mindful Pregnancy. Andy's TED talk on mindfulness has been viewed over 9 million times.

In his twenties, Andy quit university and decided to travel to the Himalayas to study meditation instead. He began a ten year journey which took him around the world, studying as a lay person, a novice monk, and culminating in full ordination as a Tibetan Buddhist monk in India.

Andy returned to the UK with the huge-yet-simple goal of teaching meditation and mindfulness to as many people as possible. He began teaching politicians, athletes and business leaders and then, together with friend Rich Pierson, launched Headspace, which now has millions of members all over the world.

Location and Timings 

This event will take place at 'The Light' @ Friends House in central London on Wed 4 July 2018. Doors will open at 18:30 and the event will start at 19:00


Tickets

This event is in support of Action for Happiness. We want to make it accessible to as many people as possible, so rather than charging a fixed fee we're instead asking you to make a donation. It would be great if you could donate £20, but if you can spare more, or feel unable to give that much, then please give what you feel is appropriate.

Any funds raised (beyond the costs of the event) will contribute directly to Action for Happiness' work to promote mental wellbeing in local communities. Action for Happiness is a Registered Charity (1175160) and Company Limited by Guarantee (10722435) in England and Wales.
