Event description

Description

Calling all book lovers and budding authors! Ever wistfully thought about having your own book published? We’ve got just the thing that might give you a little push in the right direction. On 19th September we’re holding a fabulous rooftop event in partnership with publishing consultancy Byte the Book, dedicated to helping you take your writing to the next level.

Join CEO of Curtis Brown Jonny Geller, Headline Publishing Director Alex Clarke and acclaimed authors Lisa Jewell and Felicia Yap, in conversation with Justine Solomons from Byte the Book. The panel will be discussing all practicalities of the publishing process - from creating a distinctive voice and character development, understanding the current market and offering guidance on that all-important manuscript submission!

Copies of Yesterday by Felicia Yap and Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell will be on sale on the evening.

Tickets are £10 and include a welcome drink, nibbles and a tote bag. This is a Rooftop Book Club @rooftopbookclub event produced in partnership with Byte the Book

Educating authors and publishers on technology, Byte the Book is a networking organisation helping members to make valuable connections with each other and across the publishing industry.
