Yolantha Morrigan is a Producer and Project Manager with over a decade of experience delivering everything from branded campaigns and music videos to high-end documentaries and TV shows for broadcasters like Channel 4, ITV and Netflix.

She’s worked across agencies, production companies and in-house teams, managing fast-paced shoots and multi-million-pound productions. And along the way, she’s hired a lot of crew.

As a self-taught professional, Yolantha knows what it’s like to build a career without traditional routes or industry connections. She champions diversity, including neurodiversity and mental health, and is passionate about helping early-career freelancers find their footing in a competitive industry.

In this Q&A, she’ll share insider tips on what producers and hiring managers actually look for, how to put together a standout showreel, the do’s and don’ts of emailing your details, and how to network in a way that feels natural.

Perfect for freelancers at the start of their careers who want to get their foot in the door and make the most of the opportunities once they do.
