This interactive session will introduce participants to a variety of skills that will assist them to deal with conflict situations in a way that avoids the use of aggression.

Learning Outcomes

• Raise awareness of what conflict is in a youth work context?

• How conflict impacts on us?

• How we behave in situations of conflict?

• How we can support resolution?

Your place on this course will only be confirmed once you have receive an email from Jemma Laidlaw at YouthBorders. This is to ensure you are eligible to attend. Please note we are only able to provide opportunities to organisations, youth workers and volunteers within the Scottish Borders.

Where there is a cost to attend your organisation will be invoiced in advance of the event date. If you need to cancel your place on the above event, please let us know as soon as possible as there may be a waiting list. No cost will be incurred for all cancellations up to 24 hours before the event, any cancellations after this will be subjected to a £15 cancellation fee. Non-attendance charges will be invoice within 14 days of the event date.
