Join us every week for a free online cancer support group hosted by Life after Cancer. This week, we'll be discussing how to manage your fear of cancer recurrence.
If you're experiencing an overwhelming sense of fear and anxiety around cancer recurrence, you are not alone. Fear of Cancer Recurrence (FCR) is one of the most common worries we hear about in our post cancer community and can have a huge impact on day-to-day functioning, work, mood and quality of life.
Understanding how to manage fear of recurrence can help you feel more confident and secure moving forward in your life after cancer.
During this session our coach will begin with an open group discussion where we invite you to discuss your own concerns and resources that work for you.
Our Coach will then cover 5 techniques to help you navigate and manage your fear of recurrence that include -
- Understanding your triggers
- How to communicate effectively
- Prioritising wellness
- Looking ahead to the future
- Where to find additional support
Who is this for? This is for anyone who has finished cancer treatment and is looking to improve their mental wellbeing.
