ABOUT THE COURSE
An introductory course that will provide Buddhist meditation techniques that can be used by anyone to create more peace and happiness in daily life. At the end of the course, the students will be able to join and attend a talk from the author of ‘How to Meditate’, Kathleen McDonald. Each week a relaxation exercise and instruction in single pointed meditation will be offered along with an introduction to other meditations and techniques. These will include walking meditations, developing mindfulness, visualisation techniques and analytical mediations. The course is essentially practical in nature, attempting to show how these meditations can be developed into tools which will naturally benefit both ourselves and all those around us.
