What facilities do you have?

The SHARE Library of Things  is in the centre of Frome.  
We will be seated around a table and at benches. 
There is a toilet available. 
We can make drinks.

Is the space accessible?

Accepted Answer

The SHARE shop is accessible via a small ramp from street level.  
There is no accessible loo in the SHARE shop, but there are some a few hundred yards away in the nearby market car park.
Please contact us to discuss access needs and we will do our best to help.

What do you have there that I can use?

Accepted Answer

We have basic kit including needles of various types, threads, darning wool, scissors, pins, and bits of fabric.

Question 4

What do `I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

You need to bring anything specific for your mend. So you may want to match the colour of a thread, or darning wool. Millie Moon on Catherine Hill has a great selection of threads and fabrics.

Question 5

How many items of clothing can I bring to mend?

Accepted Answer

It's best to just bring one item and focus on that. You're welcome to bring a couple of things but be prepared not to finish everything. But you will hopefully have the skills you need to carry on the mend at home!

Do I need to have any skills already?

Accepted Answer

No! The best thing is to come along and learn. Stitching and mending things can be challenging, but once you learn how to do some basic things, it can be easy and you learn new skills!

Who are the volunteers from Everyone Needs Pockets?

Accepted Answer

All the people supporting you are volunteers, and while they are skilled and talented, we cannot take responsibility for your mends and repairs.
