About the speaker

Bianca Prandi is a conference interpreter and translator for Italian, English and German. She holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Bologna/Forlì and is currently a PhD student at the University of Mainz/Germersheim. Her research project focuses on technologies for conference interpreters.

Since 2016 she has been teaching consecutive and simultaneous interpreting from German into Italian at the Internationale Sommerschule Germersheim. She regularly holds seminars and workshops on terminology management systems for interpreters, with a focus on InterpretBank. She is a member of the German association of conference interpreters (VKD).
