About this event
Just when we were getting the hang of giving public presentations the rules change. We are now being asked to present online. Presenting via video link can be daunting at first. How do I prepare? How do I engage my audience? What about body language and eye contact? How do I control my nerves? Should I use power point? The list goes on. In this three-hour webinar we will answer all these questions and more.
In 2013 I was invited to speak in China. I flew there, ran a series of communication skills workshops over a few days and flew back. On my return I was asked to continue the workshops but this time online via video conference. What I discovered was, it worked. Now we are all presenting online and we have Zoom, Teams, Google, Bluejeans, Adobe connect, Webex and more, to assist us.
In this three-hour interactive workshop, I will share what I have learnt with you. We will explore –
- Preparing to present online
- Engaging your audience
- Preparing your material
- Preparing yourself
- Overcoming nerves
- Performing to camera
- Body language
- Vocal delivery
- Using visuals effectively
And you will have an opportunity to have your questions answered.
