Event description

Description

In the world of evidence-based practice, it’s important that we can judge how reliable and relevant the evidence we’re using is. That’s where the skills of critically appraising evidence come in. This session will give an introduction to the process of critical appraisal, as well as giving you the opportunity to practice appraising a research article. It is aimed at those with no prior experience of critical appraisal but would be a good refresher for anyone who wants more practice.

This session is open to NHS staff working in the following Trusts:

  • Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust
  • Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust
  • Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
  • Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
  • West London NHS Trust

Please bring your Trust ID card with you to the training.
