This workshop will explore all things recruitment, from increasing your team to employment laws, be in the know so you're ready to grow! This session is a must for any businesses looking to expand their team.

Training will be delivered by HR specialist, Catherine Hamilton, in an interactive workshop style and include practical activities. The session will be supported by Harry Taylor, a solicitor specialising in employment law. This workshop has been specifically designed to support small businesses looking to increase their employee numbers.

Session Leaders

Catherine Hamilton

Catherine has many years’ experience in HR supporting UK and global companies in a wide variety of sectors including - specialist engineering, manufacturing, logistics and retail. She has worked with start-ups and small organisations to embed process and procedures, developing fit for purpose documentation and training workshops.

Harry Taylor

Harry is an employment solicitor at Browne Jacobson LLP. Having begun his career with a smaller firm, he has benefited from a wide range of clients and is familiar with the challenges that a small or start-up company can face. Harry advises on company policies and procedures, throughout the life cycle of an employment relationship, as well as assisting companies from a variety of industries with employment claims
