Event description

Description

Are you hoping to return to work after a career break? Considering a career change but not sure what you want to do? Hoping to find a family-friendly job that is part-time and/or with flexibility? Returning after redundancy? Need a little confidence boost to get you started?

Join us for this friendly How to Return to Work workshop. We will share our top tips for the easiest, most effective ways to re-enter the workforce plus proven methods for finding jobs.

Our Careers Expert, Kath Sloggett from Runneth London, will take you through a process for working out what you want to do next.

Raising aspirations and boosting your confidence, Kath will also give guidance on how to get the role you want, including advice on the best places to look for roles (including part-time and flexible roles), and quick tips on how to update your CV and LinkedIn.

Come along and meet other local returners, share your experiences and get inspired for your next career steps.

Here's what a recent participant had to say:

"I attended a seminar run by Kath. Unbelievably helpful in creating a focus on exactly how I want to approach my re-entry into the workforce. Kath was able to integrate other helpful insight into career planning too, especially as I have not worked since my 11-year-old twins were born and am also facing the added difficulties of being a recent expat from the US. Highly recommend Runneth for any woman who is facing a career change or re-entry into the working world from a career break. I will definitely be attending more seminars."

Can I bring my child?

In order for everyone to get the most out of this workshop, we prefer for it to be child-free. However, we are parents ourselves and know that sometimes the best-laid plans go awry, so if your childcare falls through and you want to bring a small baby, do call us on 020 7043 2292 to discuss. Unfortunately, the venue isn't suitable for crawlers or toddlers.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Chez Bob is a short walk from Belsize Park tube station and is well serviced by local buses. There are 2-hour pay-by-phone parking bays in the area.

What should I bring to the event?

Please bring paper and a pen to write your notes.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
