This is a particularly stressful time for teens, especially those gearing up for GCSEs.

While it's not yet clear how the pandemic will impact GCSEs in 2021, Y11 students are under pressure to perform in mocks and assessments. Many found it difficult to study under lockdown and struggle to maintain motivation while self-isolating.

One of the keys to reducing stress and enhancing success is learning how to plan revision. That's why productivity expert Juliet Landau-Pope is leading a new study skills webinar for small groups of students in Y10 and Y11.

It takes place via zoom on Sun 22 Nov from 14.00 -15.30. There will be 2 x 40 min sessions with a short break between them. Only 8 places so book soon!

The webinar includes practical strategies and motivational tips, including:

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No, there is no minimum age requirement. These workshops are devised for students in school years 10 and 11 gearing up for GCSE exams or equivalent assessments.

How will the webinar be conducted?

It will take place online via Zoom, a free platform so students can access it via a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Joining instructions, including the zoom link, will be emailed shortly before the event.

Can parents attend the webinar?

This webinar is for students only. Parents are welcome to either book a coaching call with Juliet or to attend a separate webinar for parents. For details, contact juliet@jlpcoach.com

Can I record the webinar?

No, sorry. Juliet does not consent to the recording or sharing of any part of the webinar.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, it's fine book on behalf of someone else but please email Juliet the name of the student who will be attending at least 24 hours in advance. Please also ensure that the name of the person on the zoom call is registered, otherwise Juliet may not admit them from the waiting room.
