We will be exploring the following questions:
Can sustainability be achieved by 2030?
Which is the easiest problem to fix? Which is the hardest problem to fix?
Is sustainability and modern life compatible?

So grab your favourite drink/snack, get your sustainability questions at the ready and join the conversation.

Umesh Kumar
Umesh is an entrepreneur, podcaster, consultant and mentor, with a strong interest in start-ups, innovation, social enterprise and charitable initiatives.
Zakari Ajia
Zak is a multi award-winning sustainability professional with a focus on energy, environmental and sustainability issues. Zak conducts eco-assessments at schools, with the aim to improve their green credentials, as well as to talk to pupils to increase their environmental sustainability knowledge.
Meet your host: Julieta Ose
Julieta Ose is a serial entrepreneur, mentor and key-note speaker. Currently, the co-founder of award-winning oral hygiene startup, Branch Brush and Co-host of educational podcast, ‘Mostly Nothing Podcast’. She is a class of 2020 graduate in Business Management from LSBU and has been working as an enterprise ambassador with LSBU Student Enterprise throughout her studies.

This event counts towards a Certificate in Enterprise*.

How do I join this online event?
To attend this event, please register in advance through Eventbrite. Registration will be confirmed via an email from Eventbrite.

*What is the Certificate in Enterprise?
LSBU students and alumni can obtain a Certificate in Enterprise by taking part in six Student Enterprise activities throughout the academic year. The Certificate in Enterprise is HEAR accredited for LSBU Undergraduate students only. It’s a great way for LSBU students to demonstrate to employers that they have expanded their skills, knowledge and network whilst studying. Please keep a record of all Student Enterprise events you attend and contact us at studententerprise@lsbu.ac.uk once you have attended six sessions.
I am not a Student or Alumni of LSBU. Can I still attend the event?
Yes, our events are open to members of the public. All we ask is that you come with the willingness to learn something new and an entrepreneurial mind-set. Please register under the 'Other' category.
How will my data be used?
By registering to attend this event you are providing us with some of your personal data. Your data will be used to support the management and administration of this event and for sharing any post-event materials. We have a statutory obligation to report the number of events attendees to HESA on an annual basis through the HECBI Survey and to prepare internal reports on engagement in enterprise activities.
