How to sleep your way to health and happiness

Have you ever been tempted to doze at your desk? Does caffeine deliver your morning wake up call? If you’ve ever wished you could boost your energy or lift your mood at work, this session is for you. Find out how sleep underpins performance through concentration, learning, memory and even teamwork. We’ll discuss how to cope with late nights, and share a new online tool, to help you take control of your sleep.

Speaker biography

Dr. Sophie Bostock is UK Innovation Lead at Big Health, the company behind digital sleep improvement programme, Sleepio. Sophie has been awarded an NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellowship, to help promote the uptake of digital medicine in the NHS. Sophie has a PhD in Health Psychology from UCL and her research interests include the links between sleep, well-being, health and performance. Sophie is a TEDx speaker, and has featured as a sleep expert for ITV and the BBC.
