How to Start and Grow a Resilient Social Business
Overview
In celebration of Social Enterprise Day, and the launch of GLL’s Accelerator Programme for Social Enterprises, GLL is hosting an expert panel discussion and delivering a procurement workshop, to help improve the growth and resilience of social enterprises, as well as celebrate their success.
The expert panel will be facilitated by Graham Hart, Head of Economic Development for the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and will consist of:
- Peter Bundey, CEO of GLL
- Peter Holbrook CBE, CEO of Social Enterprise UK
- Sophi Tranchell MBE ex-CEO of Divine Chocolate
- Cemal Ezel OBE, founder and co-CEO of Change Please
- Timi Jibogu, founder of Endz Group CIC.
The procurement workshop will be delivered by Robert Jamieson (Head of Procurement, GLL) and Kristina Johansson (Procurement Manager, GLL) and will provide an insight into GLL as a business, the types of businesses that can provide a service or product for GLL and the criteria they must meet to become approved suppliers. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask Robert and Kristina questions after the presentation.
