Event description

Description

In the latest in the How To Workshop series we are joined in the Imperial Enterprise Lab by Saket Kumar, an investor with La Famiglia. He previously worked for Global Founders Capital (the €1B Rocket Internet venture fund) and in an operating capacity. Prior to this he was a Philosophy, Politics & Economics student at the University of Oxford.

La Famiglia is an early-stage fund based out in Berlin. Cliff notes: €500K-€1M cheques, sector-agnostic, every LP is an entrepreneur - half from the old economy (e.g. co-owning family of Miele, CEO of Swarovski etc) and half from the new economy (e.g. Niklas Zennström of Skype/Atomico, founder of €3B unicorn Auto1 etc) and we utilise our strong network to give our startups as many unfair advantages as possible.

This will be an overview of how to build a company in the enterprise space. Key topics that will be touched on will include:

1) Product Challenges (product-market fit, with a particular focus on workflow disruption & adaptive challenges)

2) Timing (both macroeconomic tailwinds & technological ones)

3) Sales (pilots, sales engines & sales-product fit
