We are back! Having taken August off, we are delighted to bring you this month’s Investment Club focusing on ‘How to Start, Scale and Exit your business’. We are delighted to be joined by Christiana Stewart-Lockhart from the EISA (Enterprise Investment Scheme Association), Triin Linamagi, founding partner of Sie Ventures, and Frances Spooner, Partner at Marriott Harrison. They will be sharing their insights and experiences of starting, scaling and exiting businesses’!

Christiana, is Director General of the EISA, having previously spent a decade working in Westminster. Christiana founded EPICENTRE; a Brussels based network of some of the most respected think tanks across Europe. Christiana, will be talking to us about the tax reliefs available to both investors and businesses, looking to start their entrepreneurial journeys, taking us all the way through to Series A and beyond.

Triin is the Founding Partner of Sie Ventures backing early-stage female-led companies and running a Capital Platform to drive more funding to diverse founding teams. Formerly she was VP at The Venture Collective, investing in companies across US and UK. She was also an early-stage investor at Founders Factory and Startupbootcamp. Before her career in investments, she was a founder in three companies across FinTech and Future of Work. We will be discussing the work that Triin and the team are doing at Sie Ventures to support both investors and founders, with the shared objective of closing the gender funding gap.

Frances is a partner in the corporate team at Marriott Harrison, with extensive experience on both the Venture Capital and M&A transactions. Fran has also been recognised as a Next Generation Partner for Venture Capital by Legal 500 UK and will be sharing her experience as to what founders and business owners should want from their legal advisers and how to effectively scale and exit your business.
