SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Ben is a seasoned compliance and data protection leader with over 15 years of experience across diverse industries and regulatory landscapes. Since July 2023, he has served as Head of Compliance and Data Protection Officer at the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB), where he leads corporate and data protection compliance, risk management, and governance initiatives.

Previously, Ben was Global Head of Compliance at S&P Global, and held data protection roles at eBay, Gumtree, and in financial services. His expertise has earned him accolades including the 2022 ICA Compliance Officer of the Year and 2023 ICA Business Partner of the Year.

Ben is an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), a CISSP, and holds advanced certifications in sanctions risk management, ESG and AI governance.
