Description

The workshop

Self-sabotage stops us from doing what we really want in our life.

It stops us asking for what we really want in our relationships or at work, it stops us applying for that promotion, starting that business, going to the gym, losing weight or writing that book...you fill in the blank.

The reasons why we do this however are more complex than it may seem on face value.

In this workshop, I will take you on a journey of self-discovery as I help you to figure out what is stopping you and how can start to break this down and essentially break through!

We will look at the deep-seated underlying psychology behind why we do this and you will get to grips with your own sabotaging patterns that are holding your back from living your potential.

You will leave this workshop with:

  • An understanding of how self-sabotage manifests in your life - and why we do it to ourselves.

  • An understanding of your own patterns of self-sabotage and why you’re doing it to yourself

  • A set of tools you can use to stop the sabotage in its tracks!

  • A plan for yourself and the strategy around the area you want to change.

Workshop FAQs

I think I sabotage in a more generic way rather than specific. Will the workshop still help?

Yes. Sometimes people struggle to identify where they specifically do this but they’re just aware that they’re not helping themselves to get to where they want to be. The workshop will help you see what self-sabotage can actually look like in your life and so will make it easier to identify how it’s showing up for you.

Do you take a therapeutic approach to self-sabotage?

Although I may touch upon therapeutic teachings/theory or practice, the work you will undertake is strictly not therapy. This is very much a teaching/facilitation and is not meant to replace any therapy. If you feel you need this or are unsure for any reason, then please do get in touch and I would be happy to advise/assist with a therapeutic referral.

Will I get any individual time with you on the day to work though my own issue?

I’m afraid not.

Workshops are an opportunity to work as a group on an issue. You’ll be taught about specific facets of self-sabotage and there will be exercises where you’ll be asked to work on your own individual circumstances. If you you feel you need a more personalised approach then please do get in touch about private 1:1 sessions where I’d be happy to explore this with you personally as part of a Coaching package.
