Description

*FINAL EVENT OF THE YEAR*

Among developed countries, the UK has one of the worst rates of educational inequality. We believe your background should not dictate your destiny, and that everybody should have an equal chance to succeed. Our Leadership Development Programme places talented people like you into classrooms where you are needed most to help end this injustice.

Our 'How to submit a great application to Teach First' event is aimed specifically at career changers, young professionals and recent graduates, and will enable you to find out more about Teach First, the structure and benefits of our programme, and what makes a really strong application. You'll also be able to get your questions answered by members of the recruitment team, so that you feel as confident as possible in submitting your online application.

This is our final event of the year as the deadline for applications is at the start of May.

The Teach First programme offers:

 A fully-funded and salaried route into teaching, including an internationally recognised Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Leadership (PGDE), worth double the credits of a PGCE

 Classroom-based training, allowing you to take real responsibility from the outset

 Guaranteed NQT year after gaining QTS at the end of your first year

 Unparalleled career support during and after the programme, which enables our participants to progress quickly in school leadership, education policy, social enterprise and other fields

Places are limited, so sign up now.

Please note there are eligibility criteria you will need to meet in order to gain a place on our programme. We strongly advise you check the teaching requirements on our website before you sign up to attend this event.
