How to Survive an MoD that Doesn't Understand Maritime Engineering: Debunking MoD's Favourite Processes; Presented by: Muir MacDonald

and

Supporting Marine Professionals on the Path to Engineering Registration. Presented by: Professor John Chudley

Muir’s Talk:

Muir MacDonald is a former Complex Projects Leader at the UK’s MoD and past Managing Director of BMT Defence Services Ltd.

Muir will observe that the Ministry of Defence loves its processes, and its one-size-fits-all approach. Yet in a half-teasing, half-serious talk he'll unpick three of the MoD's favourites and show how they're misunderstood and don't really work for our complex world of procuring or sustaining ships and submarines.

John’s Talk:

Professor John Chudley will be providing key insights on: Supporting Marine Professionals on the Path to Engineering Registration.

John is the Chair of the Engineering Council, Rector at MLA Collage, and visiting Professor for The Univerity of Plymouth and Southampton Solent Unioverity. John will be helping our members navigate
