About this event

What is this event about? This free online event is all about building the confidence and skills needed to have meaningful conversations about the climate emergency in your community. Talking about climate change can be difficult—but it's also one of the most powerful tools we have.

Together, we’ll explore what gets in the way of climate conversations, how we can make them more welcoming and inclusive, and why continuing to talk about the climate emergency matters more than ever.

What will you learn? This interactive session will include space for discussion, reflection and shared learning. You’ll gain:

  • Insights into common blockers and barriers to climate communication
  • Practical tips for opening up safe, supportive dialogue
  • Ideas for making climate conversations more relevant and engaging
  • Inspiration to keep the conversation going in your community

Who is it for?Anyone in Fife who wants to get better at talking about climate change—whether you're part of a community group, just starting out, or want to support others in your area. The workshop is particularly aimed at organisations contributing events to the Fife Climate Festival in their communities.

How to joinThis event will take place online via Microsoft Teams. The link will be sent to all registered participants.

Organised by

We are Community Groups in Fife that are taking action on Climate Change. By working through this network we intend to share information, resources and knowledge whilst tackling the barriers to low carbon living in Fife. We will act as a channel of communication with Fife council and the wider Scottish Communities Climate Action Network to whom we are affiliated.
