Hear From This Year’s Dragon Slayers!
Holly Wootten
Altra & Voom athlete Holly Wootten, dominated the 2025 Dragon’s Back Race. Holly held the lead from Day One and finished in Cardiff as first woman, second overall taking a phenomenal 3 hours off the previous woman’s course record. Lake District based Holly is no stranger to the mountains and after completing the race in 2023 as a recce, came back this year to claim victory - hear about her unique approach to this monumental challenge.
Jodie Gauld
Cornwall based Ellis Brigham athlete Jodie Gauld finished this year’s Dragon Back Race second woman after an incredibly strong performance. Despite challenging conditions and a difficult final few days for Jodie, she crossed the line in Cardiff Castle in a blistering 61 hours as second woman. Hear about the highs and lows from her battle with the beast.
