MA Dramatic Writing at Drama Centre London at Central Saint Martins is delighted to announce the Year of Experimentation: Part Two which will take place as part of the inaugural London Writers Week.
The culmination of a year long exploration into what dramatic writing can be in the UK - Wednesday 8 July 2015
The Year of Experimentation: part two is the second part in a two year investigation into what dramatic writing training could be in the UK being run by the new MA Dramatic Writing at Drama Centre London at Central Saint Martins.
The free day will include free discussions and Masterclasses by Masters and industry partners who have led the way in dramatic writing training in the UK
The full schedule will be:

10.45am - 11.30am: Philip Shelley, creator the Channel 4 screenwriting course
11.30am - 12.15pm: Kate Rowland, creator of BBC Writersroom
12.15pm: lunch
1.15pm - 2pm: Jennifer Tuckett, Course Leader of the MA Dramatic Writing
2pm - 2.45pm: Caroline Jester, former Dramaturg at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre
2.45pm - 3.30pm: Lucy Kerbel, creator and Director of Tonic Theatre
3.30pm: break
3.45pm - 4.30pm: David Edgar, founder of the UK's first MA in Playwriting
4.30pm: break
5.15pm - 6pm: John Yorke, creator of the BBC Writers Academy
The theme for this year is How to Teach Dramatic Writing and Masterclasses and discussions will share thoughts from the Masters on this topic.
The Year of Experimentation will be followed by the MA Dramatic Writing Graduation Showcase in the evening.
