How to Teach Primary 'Coding'

This practical course aims to develop subject knowledge of the 'coding' requirements of the Computing curriculum and explore teaching strategies. Teachers will discover how existing pedagogical practices can be adapted to offer pupils engaging, creative computing lessons with cross-curricular contexts.

Ben Davies will lead this course. Ben is a Computing at Schools Master Teacher with over 13 years experience and has been a local authority Lead Practitioner for ICT. He currently works at St Pauls CE Primary School, Withington. He combines enthusiasm, his excellent knowledge of computing and his friendly nature, to provide engaging and practical CPD activities.
