ow to use a Graphic Tablet for Post Processing by Train To Create & Wacom has been created to show those of you with a grpahic tablet the optimum way to set it up for use with photoshop and to show those of you thinking of purchasing one, how and why they are the easily the best thing to use when photo editing.
Train to Create will show you how best to set up your tablet for photographic retouching and then walk you through a fashion portrait retouch from start to finish using Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet. The image and their workflow will be projected onto a large 180cm screen and you will be able to follow it on your own laptop/pc/mac using your own tablet or one supplied to you by Wacom for free for the day. (Any Wacom supplied tablet may be purchased at the end of the day at a discount)
You can bring your own tablet or Wacom will supply you (free) with a new Intuos Pro tablet on the day. You will need to bring your own laptop, PC, or Mac running with Photoshop version CS5 or above.
Lunch will be supplied and will there be free tea, coffee, water on the day. Bring your own soft drinks which can be kept in a fridge at the Windmill.
If you don't own Photoshop yet then before the event Train to Create will supply you with a link where you can download a full trial version.

- 10:00-10:30 Welcome & introduction to Train to Create
- 10:30-11:15 How to set up your tablet for Photoshop
- 11:15-12:00 Practice using your tablet & stylus
- 12:00-13:00 Train to create will introduce the image you will be retouching and will explain to you the workflow they will working to and some of the advanced techniques they will be using.
- 13:00-14:00 Lunch (provided)
- 14:00-17:00 Retouching step by step until completion.
What you need
- Your own Laptop
- Adobe Photoshop CS5+ installed (preferably in english language)
- Basic knowledge of layers, adjustment layers and masking
