In this introduction session aimed at people who are new to Canva, we'll look at

• Navigating round Canva
• How to use and customise templates
• How to personalise your designs with images of your own
• Some basic design principles that you can rely on to create projects you can be proud of.

There will be time to practice with Canva so please register for a free Canva account before joining and have some of your own photographs and logo easily accessible on whatever device you use to join the session.

Priority will be given to participants based in Dumfries and Galloway and Scottish Borders. If you live outside the geographical area and book a ticket then you may be placed on a waiting list until there is availability for you.

This event will take place on zoom, it will not be recorded.

Once you have booked your slot you will receive an email from Eventbrite, 2 days before the session starts, which will contain the Zoom joining instructions. You will receive another reminder 2 hours before the session starts.

You will require audio and preferably video on your device to take part in the session. If you've not used Zoom before, join 15 minutes early and use the Chat facility if you need any help getting set up.
