How to use mindfulness techniques to overcome public speaking nerves.

Public speaking can be scary.

Even the most experienced public speakers get nervous before giving talks.

But if you're not careful, the nerves can take over and make you feel unprepared and even cause you to panic. Which means you rush through your talk and don’t feel you did a good enough job.

This can be even more of a problem if you are just starting out in your public speaking journey. Because the feeling of anxiety could be so great that you avoid the opportunity to speak altogether.

Which obviously isn’t great, because you’ll never develop as a confident public speaker.

If you find yourself overwhelmed with nerves, anxiety or pressure before public speaking, you lose your confidence and this gets in the way of you sharing your message as well as you want to.

Join me for this 45 mins session where I share with you mindfulness techniques to help you overcome public speaking nerves, so that you feel prepared to communicate with confidence.

During this session David will show you mindfulness techniques to support confident communication, including:

  • Reframing your obstacles into opportunities to grow confidence
  • Visualising being successful and preparing to speak with confidence
  • Delivering a talk and receiving feedback

Format

  • David will show you techniques to support confident communication.
  • There will be some opportunities for participants to practice.
  • Time will then be set aside to answer any questions you have.
