About this event
Three ways to help validate game ideas
There are lots of different ways to look at your game, but at the end we need to be able to make our best assessment about what games are likely to work before we invest a lot of time, passion, and money into the projects.
Oscar Clark, CSO of Fundamentally Games, has spent much of his career in a role where he has needed to make a call on the commercial potential of a game. Whether it was trying to pick the winners in the mobile Java era or consulting (usually to find a way to help rescue a failing project) and especially now in his role as CSO of a Living Game Publisher.
He will share the three key perspectives that help him make those decisions and how this also helps him in his own game design and commercial thinking.
Join Oscar's FREE webinar as he shares the tips to validating game ideas. The webinar will explore:
• DIRECTION: Why is this game being made, What is it? and Who is the audience?
• DESIGN: Why we need to look at the anatomy of the game from the Mechanic, Context and Metagame
• DATA: Understanding the use of different forms of data from Forecasting, Testing and Performance
To find out what these are all going to entail join Oscar on Tuesday the 24th of May for this FREE Webinar session!
