About this event

Are you seeing more and more unsuccessful grant applications, or you are successful but they will put financial pressure on your organisation due to amount actually available, and the delivery requirements?

Would you like to see a different type of longer term contractual relationship with the public sector?

This workshop will focus on commissioned contracts that will help you become more sustainable and less reliant on short term grants.

You’ll find out where the opportunities are and how you can bid for them, as well as form partnerships to go for bigger contracts.

Finally the Social Enterprise Accelerator programme can then provide you with 121 support to help you identify suitable contracts and bid for them.

Organized by

The Social Enterprise Accelerator (SEA) project offers a comprehensive support package to help Nottingham's social entrepreneurs and community innovators bring their new social enterprise ideas to life - or grow their existing Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation.

Between April 2025 and March 2026 SEA will host training workshops, networking events and one-to-one/small group support sessions. All events will be posted here on Eventbrite.

SEA is a partnership between Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service. It is funded by UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)
