Welcome to our online Songwriting Sisterhood Workshop!
Step into the world where songwriting meets the screen! How to Write a Song for Sync is a hands-on workshop designed for songwriters who are ready to level up and write music that’s made for movies, TV, and ads.
Please ensure to join us for Part 1of this workshop where we’ll break down real songs that have landed sync placements - what made them work, why they stood out, and how you can apply those techniques. Part 1 will be held on 4th June at 8pm BST.
In Part 2 we're listening to your tracks and giving you feedback about what to improve. In Part 1 we will give you a real-life sync brief so you will have a theme to write for, which you are welcome to share in this workshop, or you can submit any other song of your choice.
Together we are writing songs that belong on screen!
To ensure everyone gets the most out of this workshop, places are limited. You'll receive an email 48 hours in advance with a link to a Google form to submit your track (Soundcloud, Session Studio or DISCO are all preferred). Please also include your lyrics.

Absolutely not! We love hearing songs from people who are at any stage of the creative songwriting process, either beginner or seasoned professional.
No, but for this workshop it might be beneficial to have at least looked at a DAW (Logic, Ableton Live etc) so you have an idea of how to put a demo together. But absolutely not necessary if you want to record your song on your phone.
Yes! Providing they are a woman or non-binary, as this group is exclusively for women and non-binary. Please ask them to book a ticket through the link as places are limited.
