About this event

In this two-part workshop, we will focus on writing food as a way of practicing using the senses. Over the course of two live video sessions, we'll cover the classic creative writing skills of description and world-building, character and place, while also getting to know each other a bit. We’ll experiment with crafting delectable sentences, we’ll learn how to choose words with more bite, and we’ll explore how to plot a piece of flash fiction or non-fiction that is as whole and satisfying as a great meal. You'll come away from the workshop with a (finished!!) flash piece that is good enough to eat.

All guided by short story writer, Georgina Parfitt.
