How your collections can reach new audiences with People's Collection Wales

Are you part of a small museum, archive, or library in Wales? Want to learn how to digitise and share your collections online, with expert help and free resources?

Join one of our upcoming introductory sessions to find out what People’s Collection Wales (PCW) is, how it works, and how it can support your organisation. People’s Collection Wales is a bilingual digital platform that helps cultural organisations across Wales showcase their collections to wider audiences – including schools, communities, and researchers.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to expand your digital presence, the session will cover:

• Free training and equipment loans
• Support with digitisation, copyright, and ethical collecting
• Opportunities to contribute to bilingual teaching resources
• Promotion of your content through PCW’s digital channels
• Inclusion in projects like the Memory Archive, supporting reminiscence work with people living with dementia...and more

Open to all staff and volunteers working in Welsh museums, archives, and libraries.

Session options
Two sessions will be held on the same day – one in English and one in Welsh. Please select your preferred ticket when registering.

• English session: 10:00–11:30
• Welsh session: 13:00–14:30

How to join
The sessions will take place on Microsoft Teams. A link will be emailed to all registered attendees before the event.
