About this event
- Event lasts 2 hours
Understanding carbon impact, environmentalism and the climate crisis can feel overwhelming, disparaging and demotivating. What can one small business do against such giant problems? The answer is a lot, if we act collectively. But to be able to act as one, you first need to understand the fundamentals of environmental impact, the role your business plays in it, and what your business can do to improve the outcomes for everyone.
This event will offer fundamental insights into the climate crisis, the roles businesses play in improving the outcomes we all face and offer practical steps that SMEs can take to reduce the overwhelm and feel inspired to behave differently.
Attend this Good Growth Roadshow event to understand the climate crisis, the role that businesses face in improving our shared outcomes and practical tips on how to embed greater environmental impact into your business.
What is the Good Growth Roadshow?
The Good Growth Roadshow is a series of live events following the launch of The Good Growth Guidelines across Liverpool City Region. The roadshow will be getting under the skin of the five pillars of good growth (culture, pay, recruitment, impact and purchasing) so MSMEs can get to grips with the concepts of good growth and bring them to life in their own businesses. Across five live events, good growth will be made real by platforming inspiring stories, sharing ideas and holding space to collaborate.
Who should attend this event?
We welcome people to take part who identify with any of the following:
- A micro, small or medium business leader who wants to grow their business while helping people and the planet
- Larger company leaders that want to connect with purpose-driven businesses across Liverpool City Region and expand their network to local suppliers and influencers
- People within the business support ecosystem who help MSMEs to grow
- Those that want new ideas to overcome very real business challenges; achieving growth, attracting top talent and future-proofing their business against uncertainty
- Those that wish to be more purposeful in their work but are unsure where to get started
