Join us at Sotheby’s to celebrate Howard Hodgkin one of the foremost artists of his generation. Explore his personal collection which reveals the influences and inspirations behind so much of his own work.

Opening the door to his London home was like stepping into one of his most vibrant paintings: the collection encompasses Arts from the Islamic and Indian world, tapestries and carpets, European Decorative Arts as well as works by his artist friends such as Patrick Caulfield, Peter Blake and Bhupen Khakhar. The collection also includes some of Hodgkin’s early paintings together with works on paper that span his entire career.
