Howling Wolves Winter "Zoom" Virtual Concert
Event Information
About this Event
We will be sharing our ‘lockdown’ videos that we have produced throughout the year, ‘performing’ some of our Christmas favourites and joining together for some carols to get us in the festive spirit!
The concert is free to attend. However, our concerts usually raise money for two local Wolverhampto charities so please consider making a donation to one or both using the links below. After donating don't forget to come back to this page to complete your booking if you want to attend our Zoom concert. Thank you.
The Haven (Charity No 1065427) supports women and dependent children who are vulnerable to domestic violence, homelessness and abuse.
Wolverhampton City of Sanctuary (Charity No 1176101) seeks to help and support asylum seekers and refugees. Mary Solomon, a Howling Wolves choir member, is fundraising for this charity through a sponsored virtual Lands End to John O'Groats run
The concert will take place as a Zoom meeting which you will join. On screen you will be mingled with the choir (in the safety of the online world). You must have a laptop, tablet, computer or smart phone to join us by video link. But if you only have a landline or non-smart mobile you can join us audio only by calling in on one of the telephone numbers that will appear in the zoom invite. Whichever way you choose to join us the zoom invite containing the link or phone numbers you need will be posted on the Online Event Page here at Eventbrite and you willl receive an email notification when it is available. You do not need a Zoom account to simply join our Zoom concert meeting.
If the world of Zoom is a foreign country to you, you can find out all you need about it at https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206175806
We do hope you will join us for our Winter 'zoom' Concert.
Please note that we also intend to live stream the concert on Facebook. Audience members who join the concert zoom meeting using a video link will be visible on the screen alongside choir members during and after the live stream. If you do not wish to be visible you can turn your video link off when you join the concert zoom meeting. If you do this you will still be able to hear the concert but no other attendees or those viewing the Facebook live stream will be able to see you.
