Description

We’re delighted to invite you to HQIP’s 2nd Clinical Leadership Seminar where we will gather with Clinical Leads from across the country to network, share and learn from tested ideas and approaches in terms of leading for improvement. We will hear from leadership perspectives at national, organisational, programme and project levels, in particular their experiences, learning and understanding of how challenges in leading for improvement can be overcome. It is our hope that you will leave equipped with fresh ideas and approaches around engaging and leading teams to communicate and use data for improvement in patient outcomes.

We will be joined by Professor Sir Bruce Keogh (Medical Director NHSE), Gillian Leng (Deputy CEO, NICE), Professor Danny Keenan (Medical Director HQIP), as well as clinical leads from emergency laparotomy, lung cancer and stroke national clinical audits.

Our objectives for the day are as follows:

1) Understanding the ideas, experiences and approaches taken by clinical leads to improve patient outcomes
2) Understating how clinical leadership can influence motivation and drive to get the clinical community and delivery teams to invest in measures that focus on improvement
3) Through sharing and learning take away actions to try out across the next year at base in own teams
