About this event

Business • Career

Agile and Business Agility are popular terms that are used in many sectors, industries and organisations’. With so much available online when it comes to ‘Agile’ this workshop takes a closer look at some of the myths, assumptions and ideas.

Together we will discuss the central pillar and surrounding principles and values to Agile methodology. Human-centred design and person-centric approaches have always been popular – when we work with people it helps to acknowledge and understand our own behaviours and mindset.

Join Agile M for a workshop that introduces Agile framework to discuss what that means for us as people professionals and how we work with change. In this session we will look at:

  • Agile Mindset, 4 Values and 12 Principles from the Agile Manifesto

This is an interactive workshop to meet like-minded professionals and discuss the ideas from the session.

Speakers Bio

Emily, the "M" in Agile M, is a skilled facilitator who leads practical Agile workshops. When organisations recognise the need for change and seek a different way forward, Agile M provides training that equips teams with the tools to make meaningful progress.

With a background as a people professional and a strong passion for Agile methodology, Emily shares valuable insights into the unique challenges faced by HR teams and reflects on how Agile ways of working can offer fresh solutions and foster adaptability.

This is a call to rethink traditional HR—an invitation to explore new approaches to supporting people, culture, and change within organisations. When HR meets Agile, the potential is powerful. The question remains: are we ready to embrace it?
