Event description

Description

Everyone has done it – avoided having a Difficult Conversation – we’ve all probably questioned ourselves - “why didn’t I tackle that better & sooner”

We come across it a lot in our work with HR teams and it’s not just about line managers needing to get better.

If we’re honest, our own conversations with business leaders, external partners, suppliers and our teams could benefit from understanding our behaviour more.

So why do we all do it , how much is personal behaviour or does organisation behaviour or culture play a part?

Is being better at it one of the keys to great leadership – we’ll explore it, in true Oxen Park style, at our next Peer Network Meeting.

We have 3 very different but interwoven perspectives on the subject from our contributors:

· Belinda Board -business psychologist, executive coach and educator– Making Good, Breaking Bad – the Science of Difficult Conversations and Unlearning Bad Habits

· Pauline Caldwell – Global HR Director Clyde & Co – The HR Leaders view on our topic

· Sarah Harvey – Author, Coach and Conflict Resolver – How to change behaviour, manage emotions for better leadership outcomes

Join us on Tuesday 9th May 2017 from 9.30am to 4.30pm at St Botolph Building, 138 Houndsditch, where we will be hosted by Clyde & Co LLP.

The investment or cost, depending on your view, will be £385 including VAT. You have the choice to book through this site or to email us (geoffbooth@oxenpark.eu) and we can arrange an invoice to be sent to you or your finance department.
