The Employment Rights Bill, expected to receive Royal Assent in early autumn 2025, will cover matters from probation to redundancy, zero hours to family‑friendly rights.

Laura Claridge will talk through what to expect, highlight other recent employment law developments, and create space to exchange ideas and ask questions.

About the speaker

Laura Claridge, Partner & Head of Employment, Clarkson Wright & Jakes (CWJ)

Laura advises on all aspects of employment law and HR issues, from day‑to‑day workplace matters (grievances, disciplinaries, sickness, contracts and handbooks) through to Employment Tribunal claims. Litigation experience includes unfair and wrongful dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination. Ranked in Chambers & Partners (UK 2025). Member of the Employment Lawyers Association and an Affiliate member of the CIPD.
