Dealing with disciplinary and grievance issues can be daunting. The question of fairness will be at the forefront of both parties’ minds. It’s important to consider your options at an early stage. Procedural errors will leave you vulnerable to criticism by an employment tribunal. In this fourth training session we will show you how to conduct a disciplinary procedure fairly from the initial meeting all the way through to the outcome, including an appeal. No prior learning or qualifications are required. Whilst the session has been structured, it very much includes an open forum for you to ask questions.
In this session we will cover:
- ACAS – the minimum stages of a fair process
- The reasonable investigation toolkit
- The remit of the decision maker, the employee and their companion
- Appeal hearings – rehearing or new hearing?

Cost: £70 plus VAT per session. There is a 10% discount for individual training sessions booked before 30 September.
