The two men embark on an adventure from North Jutland down to Kliplev Church north of the old border of Southern Jutland. One was born royal, the other grew up at the bottom of society. The class differences are palpable when Prince Joachim is accompanied by the outspoken author and trailblazer Steffen Jacobsen. Along the scenic old road through Denmark, honest conversations about social inheritance, responsibility and the threads of destiny emerge. The Last of the Hand Weavers

Eddie Doherty is a modest and humble man who, at the age of 84, still carries on the tradition of hand weaving the Donegal Tweed fabrics at his small shop in Ardara, Co. Donegal, Ireland. He tells his story of starting hand weaving in the 1950's, how the once booming trade declined due to modern industrialisation and now only a few hand weavers remain. ‘S duine sèimh is iriseal a th’ ann an Eddie Doherty.
