HS2 & Align Environmental Webinar - Water in the Chilterns and Colne Valley

We will be holding two online information events in June 2021 about High Speed Two (HS2) and the ways in which we are safeguarding the quality and supply of water during our works in the Chilterns and the Colne Valley.

These online "webinars" have been set up to give residents the opportunity to hear and ask questions about:

• how we will preserve the aquifer during the construction of the Chiltern Tunnel
• sourcing water for the Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM's) and supply to our compounds
• construction methods and mitigation for piling the Colne Valley Viaduct

Our team of experts will provide a presentation on the ways in which our construction has been designed to reduce any impacts on ground and surface water. They will be available to answer any questions you may have during the event in a Question and Answer section.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite for the events on the following dates:

• Tuesday 22 June 13:00 to 14:30

• Thursday 24 June 18:00 to 19:30

Please note registration closes 2 hours before each live event starts.

We will be running this session via Microsoft Teams Meetings, which is a free to use online platform. If you have the Microsoft Teams app installed on your desktop or mobile device, the session will open automatically within that.
