High Speed Two (HS2) is the new high speed railway for Britain. Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) is working in partnership with HS2 Ltd to build the new high-speed railway in your area.
We would like to invite you to a Webinar where we will present how we are progressing the design and construction of the HS2 railway in Streethay, Lichfield. The original HS2 Environmental Statement (ES) scheme design included a large embankment and viaduct within the Streethay area. We have reduced the visual impact at this location by constructing a cutting, which includes the construction of the A38 Rykneld Street overbridge and retained cutting. The “retained cutting” will enable the HS2 line to pass under the A38, West Coast Main Line and South Staffordshire Rail Line. We will present an update on the works which are planned and there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions of our staff and construction experts.
