Do you want to improve your HSTn Early Ruleout Pathway from 0, 1-3hrs to 0, 1-2hrs?

Join us virtually this June to share learning re the implementation of a 0, 1-2hr HSTn Testing pathway by two Trusts in the West Midlands Region and share an ED triage booklet incorporating patient tests and observations made in the A&E Department (eg Lactate, ED checklist, NEWS2) in order to appropriately escalate patients - one being patients requiring an Emergency Laparotomy.

12.55 – 1.55pm: The SaTH journey for 0 and 1 hour suspected cardiac chest pain pathway - Dr Adrian Marsh, A&E Consultant, Shrewsbury & Telford Hospitals NHS Trust

1.55 – 2.45pm: Changing 0,1-3hr pathway to 0, 1-2hr pathway - Miss Ruchi Joshi, Clinical Director, Walsall Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

2.45 – 3pm: Comfort Break

3 – 3.20pm: ED Triage Booklet - Daniel Hodgkiss, Assistant Programme Manager, WMAHSN

3.20 – 4.15pm: The WM Emergency Laparotomy Collaborative: The first 2 years - Dr Julian Sonksen, EmLap Collaborative Clinical Lead, WMAHSN and also Consultant Anaesthetist, The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust

4.15 – 4.30pm: Closing Remarks
