- How they grew to a global impact social enterprise with absolutely minimal resources
- How they constantly iterated their model through MVP and lean startup
- How they communicated their wider mission to engage large communities, partners

Most new businesses need funding in order to grow and a range of finance options are available. Investment finance is often seen as the main route to developing ideas and turning them into a successful enterprise but it comes at a cost; equity.
The amount of equity you have to give away will depend on what stage your business is at but you can help by appearing organised and looking professional. Make it easy for investors to understand your business and see the realistic potential and it could save you equity in the long run.
What does it take to attract investors, and how do you pitch them once you've got them interested?
In this workshop we'll go through:
- Creating pitch decks and business plans
- The fundamentals of pitching
- Guidelines and structure
- SEIS & EIS
- Preferential tax rates for investors (no capital gains tax)
We'll also be inviting an entrepreneur that has closed rounds of investment, to share that experience too.
