Event description

Description

This is your opportunity to join the Huddersfield Choral Society in learning one of our best loved pieces of music: Faure's Requiem. You will join members of the choir who will support you through the day and be conducted by Gregory Batsleer, widely regarded as one of the most charismatic and innovative choral conductors of his generation. We need to know what voice you have: 1st or 2nd soprano, 1st or 2nd alto, 1st or second tenor, baritone or bass and whether you have any mobility problems. We also need to know whether you will be bringing your own music. Your family and friends can join you at 7 p.m. to enjoy the concert. The Choral Society members will sing some additional pieces, Whitacre's Sleep and I Thank you God and Vaughan Williams Mass in G minor.
