Hudson Valley Long Weekend

The retreat includes a total of 8 fun movement sessions of varied intensity, delicious, locally-sourced food, and expert tuition from our team of Wildfitness Coaches. We will summarize our approach in a few informal workshops, and provide ways in which to incorporate what you have learned into your daily lives.
We will spend one of our days on premises at the beautiful Minnewaska Lodge, and one exploring the Mohonk Preserve, a stunning expanse of nature that gives us all the tools we need to practice graceful, efficient movement. During our time in the Preserve and on the lodge grounds, we will be delivering a wide variety of sessions:
• High Intensity Sessions
• Wild Movement
• Combat Basics
• Vaults and Precision Jumps
• Hiking, Scrambling and Climbing • Combos (putting it all together) and our signature “Lactic Liftoff”
Our approach is refreshingly simple: source food locally, from sustainable ecosystems, to create tasty, fresh dishes with real food. We tend to minimise grains and dairy, caffeine and alcohol as well as processed foods. It is not a complicated approach, just delicious!
We will be staying at the Minnewaska Lodge with its backdrop of dramatic cliffs.
The rest element is woven into the retreat in spontaneous moments of meditation while hiking, breathing techniques to help reduce stress and, of course, the setting without urban distraction designed to help you feel rested and refreshed after each night
The team will be Natalie (Nala) Hurst - Head Coach, Nala has over 8 years of experience as a PT and she's excellent at coaxing lost movement out of every client on any retreats she delivers. Josh Valentine - Coach, lives every day as wildly as he can, in fact, he can be described as an adventure expert and athlete. Josh spends a lot of his time mountaineering, rock and ice climbing, whitewater kayaking, and extreme trail running. Finally Hannah Beadle - Coach, since joining Wildfitness back in 2015 Hannah has been on a journey. She has discovered a world away from fitness regimes and found a way to do exercise in a way that the human body was made for.
The Wildfitness Hudson Valley Retreat starts on a Thursday afternoon at 1.00pm and ends after lunch on Sunday.
